Annapolis, MD

It's hard to say what my favorite part of the trip was, but I think I will go with "Annapolis". It was a pretty drive (just about 45 min). The town was charming. Old buildings. Cadets everywhere dressed in their crisp uniforms. We heard of a restaurant called "Cantler's" that had great crabs and crabcakes. hmmmmm mmmmmm mmmmmm. Jeremy had crab, and I got lumb crab cakes. Soooo good.
Christian having fun with his claws.
The restaurant was on a little peaceful quiet creek off of the Chesapeake Bay.
just messin around
family picture time. :)
After dinner, we drove back into downtown and walked around and got home-made ice cream at a place called Kilwins. I opted for the caramel corn -- couldn't resist as soon as I got a little sample (okay, okay, I actually grabbed the largest clump of a sample I could find!). Eveyone else got ice-cream, and said it was the best they've ever had!
saw tons of these everywhere:
It was getting dark by the time we got into town. I wish we could have gotten there earlier in the day and walked around and explored more. I wanted to walk on the Naval Academy campus. But just didn't have enough time to do everything. We walked into a few of the shops.
cool buildings.
Only pic I got of the harbor. Not a very good one though.
CAUGHT! hahaha. j/k.
Can you spot Jeremy?

That last picture cracked me up. When you asked if we could spot Jeremy I thought, I don't see him...until I clicked on it and it came up bigger and there was his little face. So funny!

I love all the other pictures! It's really a cool place.
