i finally got around to snapping some pictures of pearce's room before it gets more cluttered and messy. i had a lot of fun collecting and gathering things throughout the pregnancy and after. some things are from antique shops in vermont, book shops from back east and west, serena and lily, ikea, paper source, potterybarn, ebay, borders, babiesrus, layla and grace, etsy, anthropologie, liberty of london {target}, homegoods, gifts and of course homemade goodies.

what a beautiful ans serene bedroom. I bet it looks good with just the lamp on at night, too. Love the dresser. There is much more room in there than I thought. The shelves were a great idea. where are the is the other one. The lamp is great too Do you wish you had a rocker in that room?
i love it! it is so beautiful!
I love Serena and Lily! Pearce's room is beautiful!
Her room honestly looks like it's out of a magazine! It's too cute!
i love those baby booties! where did you get them? everything looks fab. and i really like that bookshelf and the dresser. i'm thinking i should probably get one like that for ethan's room so he can finally have something a little sturdier than the plastic one he is currently using!
Jess- mom got me those booties with that Puckered dress at a little boutique in New Orleans. I think it's called Petit Ami
That's so beautfiul! It feels so peaceful and bright. I love the unique things you found/made. Everything is just perfect, like she is!
Oh my gosh...you are such a good designer! Next time I get pregnant I'm coming to you for room ideas. Pearce is beautiful by the way...you guys did a good job :)
What a gorgeous space! xx
Her room is absolutely beautiful, i love everything you did and SHE is so precious, perfect for that room!!
Perfect room - functional and fun!
I LOVE it! It looks so good!
By the way...I remember taking that impromptu picture of you kissing Pearce. I really love it because I remember how happy you were that day. I think it was one of the first times you got dressed and then we dressed the baby in her big girl clothes. It would make a great addition, framed, in her room. ok back to work
I love it!!
where did you get that cute lamp. darling.
i got the lamp on clearance at HomeGoods (TjMaxx) for twenty bucks just a couple weeks ago!!
Hey! Thanks for the birthday wishes. i'm new to your blog, but i'm in love with your daughter's room! You might know that I write a design blog for pregnancy and newborn magazine. I would love to feature your nursery if you are down. let me know! runningmommmy04@blogspot.com
SO stinkin' cute. You make me want to redo my nursery all over! Love it! Great job, Em!
just discovering your blog today, what a beautiful nursery!! I am expecting my baby girl July 8th (or before!) and i am looking at girl nurseries.......(already have a three yr. old boy) I love the Alphabet Picture , may I ask where you found that?
Hi Mrs Anketell, I tried to click on your name to find your blog to answer your question but couldn't find one, so hopefully you will see the answer here. :)
I got the Alphabet print at Papersource. It's actually a single piece of wrapping paper for only $3.95! and it fits perfectly in that large Ikea frame with mat. I looked on etsy for months for alpha print, but they were all way too expensive. this was a great cheap alternative!
congrats on your little girl on the way!
It's beautiful! great work.
Your nursery is so beautiful and your daughter fits perfectly in it! Would you mind sharing the name of the paint color you used?
such a lovely room. The dresser drawer and all it's topping, adorable! Love the print and the pink lamp. I found you via 6th street design and am now a new follower.
Hi, my name is Annie and I recently discovered your blog. I have a 6 month old boy and have a beautiful quilt like yours that I have been wanting to hang on the wall. How did you hang yours?
