p-p-p-p-plowin'

Well...with all the snow we got last week, was a lot of plowing by Jeremy dear. Thursday night he was out plowing for a good 4 hours. I still need to get some photos of him on the tractor, but quickly snapped a few of him with the snow-shoveler-whatever-its-called thing clearing the deck, that had accumulated "feets" of snow.

I tried to get photos of the front fields, because they were so foggy this evening, but I get frustrated with my lack of camera-setting-skills that this is about as good as I got.

But I'm excited because my lil sisses at BYU stopped by Nicole Hill photo book signing this weekend, and picked me up her "Photo 101" book. I've never had formal training, so I can't wait to get my hands on this book, and learn how to work my camera "for real"- rather than fumble around with settings until I happen upon the right combo.

Sweet little Pearce watched her daddy clear the deck for a while. I wish it wasn't so cold, because I'd love for her to join her daddy up on the tractor for a little ride. Maybe next time....

also, I tried a new cookie recipe this weekend, and posted about it on my other blog... We had a full house this weekend with lots of family, so it's a great time to bake! I'm still debating whether or not to make my first king cake. Mardi Gras is tomorrow, so it's now or never (or there's always next year.)

Wow - that's a lot of snow!! I wish we could have partied it up with you all this past weekend. Those cookies look delish.

I'm excited for you to be getting a photography book! You're already so good at taking pictures that I don't know how much more you need, but it's nice to have it to refer to.
