I recently was going through all of my photos from the last year to print some for another photo garland for Pearce's birthday party. It was a fun little trip down memory lane. These stood out, probably because I'm missing Seattle/Washington, and it blows my mind how much babies and little children grow up so fast. I remember these were taken at Gas Works Park after her 18 month check-up. She has grown up/developed SO MUCH in just the past 6 months. I was chatting with Jeremy the other day, trying to explain that it's interesting how people in general change/mold/grow, etc... and that in the 7.5 years I've known Jeremy that he's changed/evolved/grown and I feel I have, too. But then I think about Pearce and how much a baby changes in just TWO years, and it's really an incredible thing.
She still has kind of a baby face in these pictures, and definitely looks like a little toddler. But I look at her today and I'm seeing more of a "little girl".
I always love looking at photos as soon as I take them. I usually am so anxious to see what I snapped as soon as I'm done, and have them uploaded to the computer the same day. But, being able to LOOK BACK, is even better. It's priceless. Happy Memories.

My FAV pic of you and your girl yet!! I love that one of you guys. You're such a beautiful momma. I love gasworks park! Such a pretty view of the city, too. And Max is obsessed with the hills:) And by the way, I just have to tell you that your pictures are gorgeous and you in NO way need a "crash course lesson" from me at all! I think your pictures are always so beautiful.
Such a sweet post. When I saw the first picture of Pearce, I totally thought she looked SO much younger - like you said, more of a baby face. And I love the bottom picture of the two of you - you look great!
that top picture is perfection. it should be in a magazine or something. definitely a framer. hahaha. i also love that picture of you and her -- you both look so happy. its adorable.
6 months IS such a long time for babies/toddlers. think about it -- 6 months ago right now my sitting-up-army-crawling-teething little baby was a helpless little newborn. CRAZY!!! lylas. :P
Ah, what sweet photos. Makes me sad that you're not here anymore. :( P has grown so much into such a sweet, beautiful little girl. We'll always cherish the times you were close by.
