We've been hitting up the library almost every week lately. We like story time, checking out new books and DVDs and Pearce likes to follow her nose. And because I really liked Pearce's outfit today, I brought the camera! hahahahahaha
Returning our books in the slot is lots of fun. "More mommy!" After we returned each of our books one at a time, she still wanted to do more.
Perusing the books....
Now onto the DVDs.. "OH look, mom, DOG!!!"
Found the computers, and climbed up into chair. She said she was "working". And when I said "Let's go." She replies "SHOE, Mom, shoe!" Did I mention she says that to me a lot?!?! hahahahahaha I think it's kinda funny. I think she learned it from Grandma Curfew, because whenever she goes on walks with her, grandma will say "shoe, dogs, shoe" or flies. And now, Pearce applies that same phrase to me! hahahahaha
Can you see her little lips saying "shoe"? And her little arm waving me away? Yup, happens alot. This is just the first time I captured it in a photo.
I guess pay phones are great toys, too. Because she played and talked on the phone for a while. I asked her who she was calling, and she said "Lion King". DUH!! hahaha
It was a little rainy today. I love a little rain. It makes everything green and beautiful.
Pearce had a ball going around, up and down, all the ramps and stairs in front of the library.
"Don't trip, Pearce! Be Careful!!" Her new birthday shoes are still a little big and she tripped the last time she wore them. But today, she did great. No falls.
Up the stairs. Doesn't like to hold on to rails anymore.
"I did it mom!!"
OK, now let's go home...

hahaha I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels more inclined to drag the camera along when the kids look cute:) Totally true. Love her and her darling birthday shoes and oh-so-french-chic looking bow and shirt.
Btw, her little pose a post or two back, where she's in her easter dress and hamming it up for the camera with one leg bent....KILLS me. model girl. she's TOO cute.

I always loved going to the library as a kid. Glad it's close by so you can go too.
i am in love with those bright yellow shoes! and i LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that pearce loves books. hahahahaha. does it just blow your mind that you have a child that loves books like me??? hahaha. do you think she will keep her younger sisters up til late at night with the lights on because she just HAS to finish a good book one of these days?
and also, the story of her shooing you away totally gave me a flashback to once when i brought ethan and grace and sophie to the library when we were doing our internship in cincinnati and ethan told a little girl who was coming to close to him to "shoo." it was hilarious.
haha "lion King:. that right there is funny. can't wait to see yall this weekend for the crawfish boil!
