boy was this a morning.
trying to get 2 kids ready and out the door by 8am
(with 5 new inches of still-falling snow) isn't the easiest, or quickest.

changing diapers for 2.
dressing 3 (including 2 extra onesie changes for H).
feeding 2 (forget me. at this point, i'm on a liquid (Diet Coke) diet sprinkled with anything junky I can get my hands on when they are free).
all the meanwhile fussing and shooing off an aggressive toddler from a newborn.

doc ordered a hematocrit test last friday at our 4 week check up, and levels were pretty low at 27%. not good. so he wanted us to follow up again today, one week later, and requested it all be completed by 9am. I, of course, have been nervous and anxious this past week. good news is the levels went up to 29%. bad news is our pediatricians office is SO NOT ON TOP of anything. I called twice this morning to find out what doc said, and Jeremy even called this afternoon to follow up since they never got back. still no word... I'm assuming it's good news since levels went up, even though they are still low. It means he's creating blood cells with enough efficiency to counterbalance the red blood cells that are dying.
sweet little henry -- keep up the good work!
we celebrated with donuts from Branburry Cross and brought some to jeremy at work.

Sweet little Henry!! We're pulling for him! Sounds like you've got your hands full!
that picture is so adorable! he is so cute. :) have you heard anything back from the doctor's office??? hopefully his levels are continuing to go up!
Yah they finally called right before closing last night. Henry has improved and as long as he keeps eating well and growing well, then they'll test levels again in one month. But if growth or eating habits change we'll have to do something.
so annoying they left you hanging for so long!! ugh!! how frustrating. Sweet boy is a fighter. So sorry you've had to deal with all these doctor appts. I am glad he's improving! Hugs to you:)
