dish washer

I hope I don't just write about how hard Pearce has been, because my little girl is SUPER SUPER sweet, too. Like...blows me away sometimes how sweet she is and the things she tells me. I need to write down some of her really sweet moments, too. Okay, here's one... But sorry if it's a little gross at the same time...

Last night she woke up SCREAMING "MOMMY MOMMY MOMMY!!!!" (Much different than the occasional/regular "mommy" whine in the middle of the night.) Bless her heart, she was sitting up in her bed puking, and trying to catch it all in her hands, so her bed wouldn't get dirty, and gasping for air saying "I need a napkin, mommy!" I know she was scared, because throwing up is kinda scary. So when I got a towel and turned on the lights, and saw she was sitting there as still as can be with her hands cupped over-flowing with gross stuff- {I'll spare the other word}, with a sweet innocent face, my heart melted. She was trying to hard not to make a mess! I love this little girl. And I want to take such good care of her.

(It's too bad, this occurrence happened two more times last night. Whoa...what a night.)

Lately, Pearce has been really into wanting to hand wash the dishes. She sees me wash the bottles every night, and now wants to wash all of my clean bottles in the morning. So, I let her, just because I know she really wants to be "helpful". Pretty sweet if you ask me. :-)

Poor Pearce! That is so sweet/sad. But her bum in those leggings is too much!

Something about dishes, kids love. Hudson willingly & excitedly helps me unload the dishwasher every morning.

Sweet little Pea! So sorry you are dealing with a stomach bug. I have yet to experience the throw up with a toddler (especially in the middle of the night). It has always been my biggest fear becoming a mom cause I'm not sure I can handle it. Hopefully you were able to rest up today. I love how she wants to be just like you!

Awe, sweet girl! That made me tear up that she was worried about making a mess, and I think it made me tear up too cause she just reminds me of Ruby, esp the part saying "I need a napkin." She's always saying that at dinner cause I always forget to put out napkins and she's always making a mess. haha. She is just soooo sweet. I love that she wants to help with dishes. I should let Ruby do that more. I am too worried she'll break everything:) hope she feels better soon!
